Think of this as your personal prep tool to make sure your session reflects who you are — your style, your spark, your story.

LET'S Get YOU Ready!

Senior sessions are all about celebrating you—your personality, your style, and your journey. Sessions typically last 1–2 hours and include multiple outfit changes and locations if desired.

Most seniors book 3 sessions throughout the year. Summer, Fall, Winter, Spring all offer beautiful scenery options! We also have an indoor studio as a location option.

We’ll capture a mix of posed and candid shots so you walk away with a gallery that’s bold, beautiful, and truly you.

Planning Your Session

Pick Your Vibe:

Do you want something urban, natural, moody, bright, or edgy?

Fields, flowers, water/creeks, fall leaves, brick buildings, snow, or around your high school - Let’s chat about the look you love.

Choose a Location:

I can recommend some amazing spots—from downtown scenes to open fields or cozy studio setups. We do travel if you have a dream location!

Timing Matters:

For outdoor sessions - Golden hour (just before sunset) or sunrise gives that dreamy, soft light perfect for portraits.

For indoor sessions - during the daytime for that natural lighting shining through the studio windows.

Plan your outfits

2–5 options is great – Include a mix of formal, casual, and trendy styles. Stay true to what you like!

Consider what type of locations will be used when planning outfits.

WHAT TO BRING:

✅ Essentials

  • Outfit options - make sure to try on every outfit option to ensure that you like the fit and look. Try to have any wrinkles smoothed out and remove any tags or stickers!
  • Shoes – Match each outfit with appropriate footwear. Barefoot is also an option depending on location!
  • Undergarments – Nude or seamless undergarments for outfit changes.
  • Accessories – Jewelry, hats, scarves, belts, or watches.
  • School-related items – Letterman jacket, cap & gown, sports uniform/equipment, musical instrument, etc.
  • Makeup & touch-up kit – Lip balm, powder, mirror, oil blotting sheets.
  • Hair tools/products – Brush, comb, hairspray, bobby pins, etc.
  • Water & snacks – Stay hydrated and energized during the shoot.

📸 Optional but Recommended

  • Props – Hobby-related items (books, skateboard, camera, etc.).
  • Portable mirror – For checking hair/makeup.

  • Give yourself plenty of time to get ready for the session
  • Consider booking a hair appointment if you don't enjoy doing your hair - makeup appointments are great too! Completely optional.
  • Stay hydrated & moisturized
  • Try to avoid consuming foods & drinks that will make you feel bloated and bleh before the session
  • Bring a friend or a parent if that makes you more comfortable.
  • Trust the process—we'll make magic!
